Celtic Appalachia Records is proud to announce that a new band has joined our roster! Nifelheimr is an atmospheric black metal band with a depressive edge. Fans of Abyssic Hate, На распутье, and Nidhoggr will appreciate this new entry to our catalogue of artists for their bleak and emotional raw sound. Forged in the icy forests of New England, Nifelheimr seeks to evoke the natural emotions of suffering, death, and decay in the hearts of those forced to contend with the disease we refer to as "modernity" and seeks to inspire those who listen to either end their own suffering or that of others in the face of this hell we have created for ourselves. A demo entitled "Upon the Funeral Pyres" will be released Friday, August 14 on cassette only (as it was recorded direct-to-tape and we do not have the necessary equipment for a proper digitization) on our BandCamp page.
