Introducing: NIFELHEIMR

Celtic Appalachia Records is proud to announce that a new band has joined our roster! Nifelheimr is an atmospheric black metal band with a depressive edge. Fans of Abyssic Hate, На распутье, and Nidhoggr will appreciate this new entry to our catalogue of artists for their bleak and emotional raw sound. Forged in the icy forests of New England, Nifelheimr seeks to evoke the natural emotions of suffering, death, and decay in the hearts of those forced to contend with the disease we refer to as "modernity" and seeks to inspire those who listen to either end their own suffering or that of others in the face of this hell we have created for ourselves. A demo entitled "Upon the Funeral Pyres" will be released Friday, August 14 on cassette only (as it was recorded direct-to-tape and we do not have the necessary equipment for a proper digitization) on our BandCamp page. New Release!

     Today, Friday the 13th, February 2026, we are excited to announce the newest addition to our catalogue! Appalachian Supremacy is a split demo between black metal bands Devana and Русалка. Both sides are forged in the spirit of the mighty Novomoskovsk scene but mold the sound in their own image; the material from Devana takes on a martial and regal sound, with flowing riffs and shrieking vocals conjuring images of class struggle, and resistance in the face of a fascistic apocalypse. Русалка, meanwhile, takes a raw and pagan approach. The guitars alternately grind your eardrums to pieces or are lost in a haze of cavernous reverb, with dissonant and dismal riffs weaving together in a cacophony of hate and misery.       Both bands share a disdain for false religions, and mourn the lost of our pagan past due to the abrahamic grifters that have put us at odds with our true nature. Made to order CD-Rs are available for all of our music!

        BandCamp has a policy requiring labels and artists to produce copies of physical releases prior to putting them up for sale on the site. However, this being an incredibly small and fully DIY operation, it makes the most financial sense for us to not do that, as we would like to be as efficient with our funds (and more importantly time) as possible. If you would like a CD-R of anything we've released we will design all the elements and burn as many copies as you request and upload it to BandCamp for sale.
